When the process monitor is turned on, each time a new program is executed on your computer Hacker Eliminator will pop up a warning box like the one shown below. As each program is trusted, the program path will be added to the trusted display window. A log will also be written to the main program status window. This option can also be controlled by using the option check boxes on the main program menu.

How To Answer
The process monitor is an alert to new programs running on your computer. If the box pops up when you are running a program that you are aware of, click on the Trust Process button. After you trust the new process, Hacker Eliminator will not pop up the next time you run the trusted program.

The process monitor will keep programs from running secretly on your computer.
If all your were doing was reading an e-mail or visiting a new web page, you can be sure that your response should be to "Close Process" which will kill the new running program. For a hacker to gain access to your computer, or for anyone to spy on you or log sessions, a new program will need to be be executed. With this option turned on, Hacker Eliminator will not allow a new program to be executed on your computer secretly without your knowledge.

Turn Off Process Monitor
This button will disable the process monitor. No new processes will be detected until it is turned back on.

Close Process
This button will terminate and kill the process. If the process is a service in NT, 2K or Windows XP, you may need to "Stop" the process from your control panel ; Admin ; Services.

Trust Process
This button will trust the process. Once a process is trusted, the pop up warning will no longer be displayed for the trusted program.
