Introduction
These tools are for tracing the hacker that attempted to
connect to your computer. They can also be used to trace
other connections or just simply to gather detailed information
about a computer.
Trace
Route
Trace will display the full route from your computer to
the remote computer that you are attempting to trace. Note,
in the results, your IP address will be first in the list
and the remote one will show last in the list. The other
hops in between can be ignored.
When using traceroute, you will be able to easily find out
what area the hacker is in or who is ISP is when probing
for information about his IP or the ones last in the trace.
