Scan
Path
By
default the scan path is set to the C: drive. When you click
on the "Scan" button Hacker Eliminator will start
scanning your C drive. To have Hacker Eliminator scan another
drive or path, click on the folder and select the path as
shown below:

Including Subdirectories
If
the Scan subdirectories box is checked, Hacker Eliminator
will scan all of the folders in the path. In the example
above, My Documents will not be scanned, but the folder
Trojantest and all of the folders under it will. If My Documents
was highlighted, My documents would be scanned as well as
all of the folders under it.
Starting
the Scan
To
scan an entire drive, simply click on the drive that you
would like scanned, be sure that the "Include Subdirectories"
check box is checked and click on the scan button.

Clicking Options
Delete
File
This option will delete the Trojan Infected file from
your computer.
Move File To Infected Folder
This option will move the file to an Infected folder in
the Hacker Eliminator program directory. If the file is
moved, you will have the future option to examine the file
more closely. You may want to find out more about the infected
file, what is could have allowed other access to as well
as possibly finding e-mail addresses, chat rooms, or web
addresses embedded in the file. This kind of information
can be gathered while using the Hacker Eliminator string
scanner.
Copy To Clipboard
This option will allow you to copy information about the
file, such as the program name, path and infection name
and paste the information to a text document or e-mail.
